Order the Lighthouse Stamp

Tybee Island Light Station was selected for a commemorative stamp, it was issued on Friday June 13th, 2003. The stamp was part of the third series of lighthouse stamps issued by the United States Postal Service.

The series featured South Eastern Lighthouses. Featured were Old Cape Henry, Cape Lookout, Morris Island, Hillsboro Inlet, and Tybee lighthouses.

These stamps are still available from the Lighthouse. Each is postmarked on the day of issue. The picture is a silk image of the lighthouse.
